Oh you know we’re always here for the Jesus songs on vocal competition shows, and when that song is originally by our current cover artist? Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee. This week, The Voice finalist Reagan Strange gave a strong rendition of Lauren Daigle’s “You Say” for the show’s Top 13 performances episode.
Not bad, right? Daigle is a tough act to cover, but Strange delivered. Mad shouts to Team Adam for picking a solid song.
Side note: These videos—those covering worship songs—always seem to do a little better than other performances on YouTube. Should voice competitions lean harder into the Christian market to procure votes from audiences? Honestly, we wouldn’t be upset.
