Move over, Bob Ross. Japanese artist Keisuke Teshima has become an overnight sensation thanks to a video that surfaced featuring his paintings of colorful dragons. The artist demonstrated the art form “hitofude-ryu,” or the painting of colorful dragons with one brush stroke.
These paintings are created with the dragon’s head facing upwards, a sign of good luck within the Japanese culture.
Teshima says that he travels abroad often, going to art museums for performances. Afterward, his paintings are sold, and all of the money is donated back to charity.
