We’ve Officially Reached Peak Millennial: Hostage Takes Selfie with EgyptAir Hijacker

Last Tuesday, a man suspected of wearing a vest rigged with a bomb hijacked an EgyptAir flight. One of the hostages was 26-year-old Millennial hero Ben Innnes, who pulled the ultimate Millennial move by posing for a selfie with his supposed captor. Innes told reporters that because he wasn’t sure if the hijacker actually had a bomb strapped to himself or not, he felt he had “nothing to lose.”
As it turns out, Seif Eldin Mustafa, the hijacker in question, wasn’t really wearing a bomb vest and only hijacked the plane to get a four-page letter to his ex-wife in Cyprus. So, it all worked out in the end. Except for the whole hijacking a plane part.
