Are Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig headed to Lifetime after all? You may remember back in April, when it was revealed that Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig had been working on a secret Lifetime original movie described as “a campy, fun, contemporary wink at that [dramatic thriller] genre.” After news of A Deadly Adoption leaked, Ferrell said the team was disappointed that the surprise had been ruined, and they would “forego the project entirely.” But, if this billboard photographed by reporter @Beccamford is any indication, the film is back on. Is this part of some high-minded prank, or is Lifetime actually moving forward with the film despite Ferrell’s statement? We’ll just have to wait until June 20 to find out …
