For everyone who enjoyed the delightfully wacky on-site reporting of broadcast duo Cord and Tish during the Rose Parade, we have good news: Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon will reprise their aloof-but-honest characters for coverage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Royal Wedding.
The wedding will take place May 19, and Cord and Tish will launch their rambly, say-anything commentary from HBO’s The Royal Wedding Live with Cord and Tish! The whole special will be produced by Funny or Die.
“This wedding is going to be a blast,” Ferrell told the Hollywood Reporter, as Cord. “There will be more luxury packed into that church than all the Bed, Bath & Beyonds combined.”
“Every little girl dreams of growing up and marrying a prince!” Shannon added as Tish. “Now I get to be front-row center of this fairytale romance. I’ll be crying all day!” (h/t The Hollywood Reporter)
