The movement for women’s equality in the workplace takes a giant leap forward with this one. Ready or not, there is an all-girls take on the bro-movie bash-up in the works, and it just signed female MMA fighter Gina Carano. Producer Adi Shankar expounded on the decision to cast Carano with this truly amazing quote he gave to Variety: “I don’t know how I’m supposed to make a movie that is supposed to be the female version of The Expendables without Gina Carano in it. It would be like making Twix without caramel or Jamba Juice without jamba.” Jamba Juice without Jamba. Woah, settle down, Adi Shankar.
