The World’s First Lab-Made Hamburger Unveiled

Researchers in the Netherlands have unveiled the first-ever lab-grown hamburger. The team from Maastricht University used stems cells from organic cows to create the man-made-meat as part of a project funded by Google co-founder Sergey Brin. The group behind the fake-meat said that their ultimate goal is to provide an environmentally sustainable and affordable way to feed the world’s hungry. Animal rights supporters have also expressed enthusiasm in the project, because the culturing process doesn’t involve the death of cattle. So how does it taste?
