Researchers in the Netherlands have unveiled the first-ever lab-grown hamburger. The team from Maastricht University used stems cells from organic cows to create the man-made-meat as part of a project funded by Google co-founder Sergey Brin. The group behind the fake-meat said that their ultimate goal is to provide an environmentally sustainable and affordable way to feed the world’s hungry.
