The film blog world is abuzz with the news that Peanuts is finally going to be turned into a movie. Frankly, it’s hard to see what the big deal is. Peanuts already is a movie. It’s called A Charlie Brown Christmas and it’s perfect. Nevertheless, November 2015 will see the feature-length release of an actual Peanuts movie that will reunite the whole gang. CGI? Real life? Traditional animation? 3D? Studios are keeping quiet on that for now, which is cause for worry, but Charles Schulz’s grandson is writing the script, which is reason for hope.
