
Just days after Twitter announced a weeklong online comedy event, aptly called “#ComedyFest”, in which comedians tweet jokes with the accompanying hashtag, YouTube has unveiled the details of its own upcoming comedy festival. Starting on May 19 with a live-streaming comedy special, YouTube will premier new comedy programming all weeklong. Rainn Wilson, Sarah Silverman, Vince Vaughn, Seth Rogen and others are working on new content that will debut on YouTube.com/Comedyweek.
