This one’s got potential. Baskets, which will air on FX in 2016, is a creation from the minds of Zach Galifianakis, Louis C.K. and comedy writer Jonathan Krisel (SNL, Portlandia, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!). In it, Galifianakis plays a man who dreams of becoming a professional clown. But, according to the show’s official synopsis, “after an unsuccessful enrollment at a prestigious clowning school in Paris, the only job he can find is with the local rodeo. Baskets follows Chip Baskets’ (Zach Galifianakis) pursuit of his dream, against all odds, to be a respected clown.” Clowns, Louis C.K., Zach Galifianakis, local rodeos … We’re no TV executives, but this sounds like a can’t miss …
