American Apparel Vows to Continue In Their Awful, Sexist Ways

With the recent ouster of noted creep and American Apparel CEO Dov Charney, many were hoping the winds were changing at American Apparel. The company is known for fair wages, quality products and hipster cred, but all of that has always been tainted by their blatantly sexist, sexually exploitive advertising. In an interview with AdWeek, Holiday affirmed that American Apparel will “continue to push the envelope” and pledged that “there would be no reason for us to abandon the brand that we’ve built and that our customers love.”
