Taco Bell has recently announced that the naked chicken chalupa—a taco made out of a fried chicken shell—will be leaving the menu soon.
Taco Bell spent two years testing the taco and debuted it on Jan. 26 nationwide. The spokesman said it was popular and had actually surpassed their expectations for its sales, but was always planned to be a limited-time offer, according to the AP.
He also went on to say that the company is “confident [the chalupa] will be returning to the menu in the future.”
No date has been given for when it may disappear, which means anyone looking to try this innovative creation should move quickly.
