Potentially crippling news here: The AP claims to have a source who says law enforcement sent a copy of Ray Rice’s assault footage to the NFL back in April. If confirmed, this would contradict the NFL’s assertion that they had repeatedly asked for the tape, but had not seen it till TMZ leaked the footage this week. The tape in question shows former Baltimore Raven Rice brutally punching his then-fiancee.
