So, Hurricane Sandy, the tropical storm that was threatening the Florida coast with yet another bruising deluge of rain, is losing steam and it looks like Floridians will miss the worst of it. But meteorologists are saying that the system could head up north and merge with some winter storm systems creating the awesomely named “Frankenstorm.” A winter hurricane, that forecasters warn could cause trouble for Philadelphia, South Jersey and even parts of the midwest.
