Frontier Airlines Launches an All-You-Can-Fly Pass for the Summer

The greyhound of the sky is trying to make your travel dreams come true this summer.

Frontier Airlines has launched GoWild! Summer Pass, a $399 all-you-can-fly pass that would allow you access to unlimited flights from May 2 to Sept. 30.

“Everyone loves summer vacation, and with the new GoWild! Summer Pass, you can enjoy even more of what you love,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial for Frontier Airlines.

We’re not sure what he means by “what you love,” but we’re guessing he means endless lines, cramped seats and overpriced snacks.

For those who are feeling especially wild, there’s also a yearly version of the unlimited flight pass for $999. Just in case you want to spend every single day of your life waiting in airport security lines.

But there’s of course a few catches. For starters, the pass only gets you on the plane. You still have to purchase options like bags, seats and other products for each flight. You also won’t be exempt from any additional taxes or fees at the time of the booking.

You also can’t really book flights in advance. The pass only allows you to book flights 24 hours ahead of time for domestic flights, and 10 days for international travel. So your summer of travel will have to be on the fly.

The passes are first-come, first-serve, and Frontier is optimistic that they’ll sell out. So good luck getting one, and good luck flying Frontier.
