During a recent Twitch stream, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins opened up about his faith journey, telling viewers that he and his wife have been attending church every Sunday and are trying to grow in their relationship with God.
“Jess and I are going through this journey, our relationship with God and Jesus,” he said. “We’re going to church every Sunday and I find myself being hypocritical a lot of the times and I don’t like that about myself.”
Blevins said he’s been reflecting on how his past behavior — and even some of his current habits — don’t line up with the life he’s trying to live now.
“I can’t keep trying to better myself and try to live biblically and then also, in the meanwhile, tell somebody I could buy their bank and foreclose their house,” he said.
He also shared how his approach to online conflict is changing. Where he once might have responded harshly to criticism, he’s trying to resist the urge to retaliate.
“I don’t want to go back and roast the s*** out of people that are roasting me,” he said. “Of course I could … but I just don’t want to keep talking s***.”
This follows another moment earlier this year when Blevins went viral for discussing his faith live on stream. In that clip, he declared “Jesus is King” and encouraged respectful conversations around belief. He emphasized that his faith isn’t about fear, but about becoming a better person — and said that since he started praying regularly, he feels more grounded and at peace.
“I can confidently say, I feel like I’m all around a better person and in a better mindset since I started praying every night.”
