It looks like coffee lovers are going to live forever.
A new study has found that consuming two to three cops of coffee each day lowers heart disease risk and the risk of death from all causes. And that includes any coffee variety — ground, instant and even the most sinful of all: decaffeinated.
Researchers in Australia studied nearly 450,000 adults for the experiment. Participants who drank two to three cups of any variety of coffee produced the best results in terms of heart health and improved longevity, with many decreasing their risk of cardiovascular disease.
We’re not technically doctors so we can’t exactly prescribe cups of coffee to your day. But science is science, so go ahead and order a second (or third!) cup.
