The ‘World’s Smartest Man’ Has Advice for Humanity: ‘Search for God’

Christopher Langan, often touted as the “world’s smartest man” with an IQ reportedly between 190 and 210—higher than Albert Einstein’s—believes the key to life is simple: seek God.

In a recent interview, Langan spoke about his faith and why he’s convinced of God’s existence. When asked for his universal advice to humanity, he didn’t hesitate.

“Search for God,” Langan said. “Ask God to establish a personal relationship with you. It’s available. You’re attached to God by your soul. If you’re receptive, you can receive the will of God into yourself—maybe even some of His power. But if you’re not receptive, you’re cutting yourself off. And once you do that, you no longer share in the identity of reality itself. When your physical body expires, there’s nothing left to carry you forward because you’ve rejected it.”

Langan is known for developing the Cognitive-Theoretic Model of the Universe, a theory that suggests reality and consciousness are interconnected in a way that explains existence itself. He believes his model serves as a logical proof for God.

“The CTMU proves this,” Langan explained. “It establishes the mathematical structure needed to build reality. When you analyze its properties, they align with descriptions of God found in most of the world’s major religions.”
