
Investigators say that a former University of Central Florida student who committed suicide in a dorm yesterday was likely planning an attack on campus before police intervened.
James Seevakumaran was to be evicted from his dorm room at UCF, where he was no longer a student, when he pointed a gun at a resident advisor and then pulled a fire alarm. Investigators say that the 30-year-old had amassed massive amounts of ammunition, two firearms and four explosive devices; they also found writings that indicated he had taken time to plan out an attack on students.
