The University of South Florida has finally just said what we’ve all been thinking: Cool it with the selfies. According to The Tampa Bay Times, the school has added “taking selfies” to a list of “inappropriate behaviors” which they are asking graduates to refrain from as they get their diplomas during the graduation ceremony. The school’s student body president told the paper, “I feel bad for the person behind the person taking the selfies because now they have to wait for their moment.” Considering the school is graduating thousands of students during the event and is providing the services of a professional photographer who will be taking pictures of each graduate, this seems like an extremely reasonable decision.
