Furniture design and retail company Ikea has announced that it will be rolling out a brand new product to stores in Britain—solar panels. The company hopes that the product will attract customers wanting to utilize renewable energy, and will roll out the panels as part of a market test. For about $9,000, customers can go to Ikea receive a consultation about how the custom-designed product will be used at their home, energy monitoring tools and maintenance services.
