
According to The Washington Post, the doctor who made international headlines for helping to “functionally” cure a toddler of HIV is a former Christian missionary to Africa. Dr Hannah Gay, a University of Mississippi Medical Center pediatrician, spent years in Ethiopia doing missions work with her husband. Today, along with her work in pediatrics, Dr. Gay also teaches Bible lessons at her local church.
