An organization co-founded by George Clooney, The Sentry, recently released the findings of a two-year undercover investigation into war profiteering within the South Sudanese government. Clooney’s org found officials have amassed massive personal fortunes from arms deals, oil and gambling—all to fuel what’s become one of the world’s deadliest conflicts, leaving tens of thousands dead and half the country without access to food.
