It’s nice when the world’s most powerful organization uses its inexhaustible capacity for good, and that’s what Google’s doing for areas of the Philippines affected by Super Typhoon Haiyan. They’ve set up a “Person Finder” to help locate victims, in which people can cross reference information with who they’re looking for with information about who’s been found, and vice versa.
