Despite hope that new satellite images that appeared to show an image resembling wreckage could be the missing Malaysian airplane, investigators say they are no closer to finding Flight 370. The Malaysian civil aviation chief delivered the bad news to reporters on Thursday, saying, “There is nothing. We went there, there is nothing.” A reporter from Reuters also joined a search crew from Vietnam (near the location of the supposed debris in the satellite image), writing, “Aircraft repeatedly circled the area over the South China Sea but were unable to detect any objects.” Including the crew, 239 people were onboard the Beijing-bound flight from Kuala Lumpur when it vanished over the South China Sea …
