Lauren Daigle is showing the world how to give back and make a difference this holiday season.
Through her organization The Price Fund, the “You Say” singer donated $100k to New Orleans’ Ellis Marsalis Center, Roots of Music, NOCCA, KidSmart and Young Audiences of Louisiana during her holiday performances at New Orleans’ Saenger Theatre. Daigle has spent the last few months donating to organizations around the country that benefit children and youth, and the performing arts communities. With this final act, her total comes to a whopping $681,000 in donations for the fall 2022 season.
Along with donating funds, Daigle allowed several children and young adults to perform on stage with her, giving them a platform to show the world their talents.
“I’m truly moved and inspired by the passion and commitment that I’ve seen from every single person involved with all of these organizations — not to mention the tireless and seemingly endless work done by their volunteers,” Daigle said. “The thousands whose lives they touch each and every day, not only provides light and hope for so many in need, it sets an example for all of us to follow and shows us what we do mean to each other.”
The Price Fund, which Daigle established in 2019, is designed to provide care for both children and the elderly as well as those in need. Through donations made via ticket sales, merch and streaming, Daigle has distributed over $2.2 million to 37 nonprofits around the world.
