
After what will probably go down as the biggest blunder of his presidency, President Barack Obama and his team seem to have got the Affordable Healthcare Act’s website up and running at its full capacity now. That’s according to Jeffrey Zients, a representative of the chairman and the guy largely in charge of whipping the site into shape. It was a photo finish, but he says he’s met the Administration’s deadline for the fixes and that the site “will work smoothly for the vast majority of users” and the team behind it is “working with the velocity and discipline of a high-performing private sector company.” So, now the site is actually working, the merits of the President’s new system can be duly evaluated …
