That is undoubtedly the greatest animal smuggling feat of all time, but we’ve got a close runner-up with this Vietnamese man who attempted to smuggle tropical fish out of New Zealand in his cargo pants. He would have gotten away with it too, if airport security hadn’t noted the water trickling down from his cargo pockets. Liquids are illegal Down Under too, but security soon found they were not only dealing with a master smuggler, but a quick-thinking deceiver as well. He told security that he had packed water in his pants in case he got thirsty.
