As CNET (who created the image above, illustrating the beautiful theorem) notes, the abstract for the surprisingly complex paper sums up how the field of mathematics can lead humanity to such groundbreaking truths: “We investigate the mathematical relationship between the size of a pizza and its ratio of topping to base in a median bite.
