Should a zombie invasion ever threaten humanity, don’t worry, the Department of Defense has a plan. Foreign Policy has uncovered a document “buried on the military’s secret computer network,” which outlines an insanely detailed defense strategy for combating a zombie outbreak. It also provides guidance on what must be done to “ aid civil authorities in maintaining law and order and restoring basic services during and after a zombie attack.”
Of course, when questioned about the incriminating report, a spokeswoman for Strategic Command said the document was just “a training tool used in an in-house training exercise” to learn about military strategy “through a fictional training scenario.” See, nothing to worry about. The only reason the U.S. government has a massive strategic document of this nature is for “training” purposes, not because there is an impending zombie outbreak that could devastatingly overtake civilization that they don’t want us to know about …
