If there’s one piece of pop culture that will likely live on forever, it’s a pair of ridiculous looking New Year’s Eve glasses.
Each year, just when we think we’ve seen the silliest pair yet, a new set drops and we are stunned, shocked, even bamboozled at the absurdity of these glasses. The 2000s were the peak of NYE glasses, but ever since then each year has been climbing an uphill battle it will never win.
Still, we have to give them credit for at least trying, or in some cases attempting to try. We’ve compiled our ranking of the 10 worst New Year’s Eve Glasses of the 21st century:
10. 2012
This is fine, but if we’re being honest the dog is really doing a lot of heavy lifting here.
9. 2013
They thought they finally found a solution that would work for the 2010s, but it actually just gets worse as the years go on.

See the previous complaint. Still, while these are pretty silly, it could be worse. Much worse.

I wouldn’t even give this an “at least you tried” sticker. This is just the true bare minimum.
