Stephen Colbert is at it again. Colbert announced Thursday that he, along with Share Fair Nation and ScanSource, would be funding every teacher grant request filed in the South Carolina public school system through the education funding website, DonorsChoose.org—the total of which comes out to nearly 1,000 projects and about $800,000. The late-night talk show host, who is a product of the South Carolina public school system, raised the funds by auctioning off set pieces from his show, The Colbert Report. Colbert was able to share the news himself via video conference at an Alexander Elementary School event in Greenville, South Carolina.
