Study: A Quarter of Women in College Are Victims of Unwanted Sexual Contact

A new survey has uncovered just how far-reaching sexual abuse is on college campuses. The Association of American Universities surveyed undergraduate women on 27 different college campuses and, according to Time, nearly 1 in 4 said they “were victims of unwanted sexual contact.” The contact was either the result of physical force or because they were incapacitated, and in some cases, it included rape.
