Since September, the anonymous man has been leaving tips for waiters in amounts ranging from $10,000 to $500, with no clue to his identity accept for a rubber stamped name @tipsforjesus. The handle leads to an Instagram feed that carries the tagline “Doing the Lord’s work, one tip at a time.” Though some Internet sleuths believe they’ve unmasked the mystery man as former PayPal VP Jack Selby, Tip’s identity is yet to be confirmed. This weekend, he was back at it, leaving a $5,000 tip on a $112 bill at a beach bar in Connecticut. Before that, he gave a $1,000 tip to a server in New York on Saturday, and even made a stop in Mexico two weeks ago.
