This week, TOMS—the company behind the popular buy-one-give-one line of shoes and sunglasses—has launched a new initiative to spotlight other brands and companies using their own products to benefit others. At The Marketplace, like-minded brands come together to sell their products, and tell how they benefit people around the world, in one location. The new online store sells everything from fixed-geared bikes benefiting charity:water and handcrafted, wooden headphones whose sales help the hearing impaired to high-end hand bags supporting ethical job creation.
