Two police officers in Mississippi were shot and killed this weekend after making a routine traffic stop. Benjamin Deen, 34, and Liquori Tate, 25, were murdered after one of them pulled over a vehicle, and the other officer arrived shortly after as backup. Police arrested and charged three men in the shooting after a large manhunt. In a statement, Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant said, “Deborah and I join all Mississippians this morning in mourning the death of our two police officers in Hattiesburg. This should remind us to thank all law enforcement for their unwavering service to protect and serve. May God keep them all in the hollow of his hand” …
