
Two police officers in Mississippi were shot and killed this weekend after making a routine traffic stop. Benjamin Deen, 34, and Liquori Tate, 25, were murdered after one of them pulled over a vehicle, and the other officer arrived shortly after as backup. Police arrested and charged three men in the shooting after a large manhunt. In a statement, Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant said, “Deborah and I join all Mississippians this morning in mourning the death of our two police officers in Hattiesburg.
