A rescue mission is currently underway to save the lives of two window washers whose scaffold cable snapped around the fiftieth story of the One World Trade Center. Workers say they’re in communication with the two men, who don’t seem to be injured. The rescue is live streaming here …
[UPDATE] WABC now reporting that it’s the 68th floor, not the 50th.
[UPDATE] The New York Fire Department broke through the 68th story window and pulled the two men to safety. All is well.
