Back in June, a video allegedly surfaced of Toronto mayor Rob Ford smoking crack cocaine. The whole story is pretty crazy, and involved a drug lord who offered to sell the video to the highest bidder, but nobody seemed able to find enough money to get it, though Gawker made a serious push to raise it. Since then, Mayor Ford has adamantly denied the allegations, but rumors kept surfacing until even the Toronto police admitted they’d received a few tips about it.
