Research has shown that chopsticks can sometimes make food taste better because there’s no cumbersome metal coming into contact with your tongue and making a barrier between you and your meal. The problem with this is chopsticks take a fair amount of practice to use. The solution to that problem is here. (h/t Fast Company)
Japanese company Yori-So has developed a magnetic pair of chopsticks designed to pinch all your food for you. The chopsticks are attached at one end, like training chopsticks, with the tips magnetized, so you really have no excuse when trying to snatch up that grain of rice or slippery edamame bean.
The only catch? They run $60 a pair. Yeesh. Maybe the cutlery set at Target doesn’t seem so bad after all.
