One way we can express ourselves to God is to worship Him by offering God the best of everything that He’s given to us, and every part of our lives.
We can give Him the best we have by worshipping him with our entire lifestyles, including our talents, gifts, time and the desires of our hearts – because everything we have comes from Him.
My goal for this section is that it can be a forum to help us learn to worship more freely and openly, and that we can draw closer to God through worship. Maybe that could be through a song, book, personal testimony, the worship experience itself, or simply through a Scripture we read or hear.
I hope this section is an encouragement to you through helping you exercise freedom of worship. I believe God may use different things and people to speak to us at various times in our lives. Here, we can discover some of those things together.
As we move forward in this section, I’d like to leave you with this verse from Psalm 37:4, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” There is great power in those words. For me personally, they have proven true time and time again. When I reflect on the different times or experiences in my life, I realize that it is in those times when I was submitting my desires to God and focusing on Him (truly worshipping Him with my lifestyle), that he granted my desires, in ways that exceeded my expectations in every imaginable way. I believe in learning to worship Him with everything in our being, we open ourselves up to a whole new realm of possibilities.
