Pastor Ed Young’s Fellowship Church in Texas is hoping to set a new world record with this massive drawing of Jesus, created with chalk on the church’s parking lot with the help of the congregation. Because of the church’s proximity to the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, presumably, the chalk drawing will be viewable to air travelers for Easter weekend. At a recent service, Young said, “This giant chalk drawing on our church’s parking lot is a great way to connect with so many people and to remind us what this week is all about.” A church member who worked on the piece told a local news station, don’t worry, if it rains between now and Easter Sunday, the work will simply become “an abstract art piece” …
