Comedian John Crist is back with a new video that takes on the very worst kind of Christianese: passive aggressive ways people get fired from a job at a church.
Of course, a pastor would never tell someone they’re fired. Instead, they’ll say things spiritually passive aggressive things like, “we love you around here we just feel like God’s calling you elsewhere,” or, “As a church, we’re feeling led in another direction.”
They are so painful, because they are true.
