Speaks So Still
Speaks So Still, released in the summer of 2006, is Anchordown’s sophomore album. They are based in Reno, Nev., and recently produced a single with Randy Miller, a four-time Grammy-winning producer. Their acoustic/rock vibe lends itself to mellow moods and deep ponderings. A few electronic snippets find themselves wedged into their easy, worship-band style. “Shade and Light” is their most upbeat song and leaves the listener wishing there were just a few more like it on this album.
