Colorado Springs’ most popular outfit is at it again, releasing their fourth album (not including the iTunes exclusive Sessions and Remixes EP), Everyone Overcome. As is typical with Desperation Band, the songs are an absolute epitome of happy-go-lucky praise music (“Counting on God”), with the occasional mixing in of steady worship (“Pleasing to You”). The lyrical quality is fairly routine, but nonetheless, Desperation Band speaks out to being faithful as well as grateful to God.
