State Sen. Ernie Chambers filed a lawsuit against God. The senator says that God has made terroristic threats against him and his constituents and caused widespread death and destruction to millions upon millions. Chambers says he filed the suit to prove the point that everyone should have access to the courts whether rich or poor. Judge Marlon Polk ruled that under state law a plaintiff must have access to the defendant for a lawsuit to move forward. So the case was thrown out. No address. No suit.
And a sarcastic “Whew!” was heard from the heavens.
