Just in case you thought that the Nigerian email scam was a well-known, umm, scam, there is one lady who happens to be both a reverend and a nurse that fell for the promise of winning the Nigerian jackpot. The woman kept sending her money in hopes to gain millions. She stopped only because her $144,000 Western Union wire transfer caught the government’s attention and they told her they would charge her with a crime if she kept sending money. Family had tried to convince here for two years that it was a scam.
She has now gone public to spread the word and to warn others of this crafty email bamboozle. (Read the full story here.)
