I have a friend. His name is Kary Oberbrunner. He writes books on church and culture. We’re pastors in the same fellowship of churches (Grace Brethren) and his latest, which I received an early copy of, is titled, “The Fine Line: Re-envisioning the Gap Between Christ and Culture.” Kary has an incredible way of relating the need to be engaged in the world, but not be of it. You can read a sample of his book on the Neue site here. You’ll be surprised at times with the conclusions he makes and I believe it will challenge you to look at your life, your ministry and your worldview in light of the mission of Christ. You can read more of Kary’s stuff on his blog here.
Here’s a video intro for the book.
