Chav Nativity

A school in England is in hot water for doing a drama class reading of a nativity play written in Chav, or British youth slang. The play portrays Jesus as turning water into beer, and the Wise Men are chided for not bringing Adidas and Burberry clothes. School officials have apologized, saying the reading was a drama exercise on language and dialect. The school where the play was read is a small day school for students with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
