A symposium in India is seeking to bring together experts from the scientific and spiritual community to study the human soul and mind. The symposium, titled “The Neuroscientific Revolution: The Human Soul and Spirituality,” was organized by the Indian Institute of Science and Religion, and aims to promote interaction between science and world religions. Job Kozhamthadam, founder and director of the Institute, said, “Science needs to respect the age-old religious insights and religion needs to learn from discoveries in science and technology, especially with regards to brain and soul which make humans so unique.”
