PCUSA Ponders Changes

The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is meeting this week to debate proposed changes to their statement of faith. The changes would include the removal of a negative reference to homosexuality in the Heidelberg Catechism, which was adopted by the church in 1967. Opponents of removing the reference say the catechism is a faithful exposition of Scripture.
